Job summary

Siftwell Analytics is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our healthcare data and software products. You will build automated validation for data inputs and support customer-facing analytics by triaging and reproducing bugs.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this remote role requires 5+ years in QA, strong scripting (Python/SQL), and collaboration across engineering, product, and customer success to scale QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or relevant certification preferred.
• 5+ years in software quality assurance or similar data-focused role.
• Experience designing automated API, backend, and end-to-end tests.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting with SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Vitest, and Pytest.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated validation processes for customer data inputs, transformations, and outputs.
• Replace manual checks with scalable, automated QA methods.
• Identify data quality issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
• Triage, reproduce, and document software bugs reported by customers and internal teams.
• Develop test plans, regression tests, and validation rules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Customer Success to assess severity and root causes.
• Help improve QA processes, tools, and practices as the company grows.
