enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the team to implement and maintain data protection infrastructure and applications. The role focuses on DLP, DSPM, and data de-identification across on-prem and cloud environments, with exposure to Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data protection technologies, incident troubleshooting, automation scripting (PowerShell/Python), and a strong understanding of HITRUST, NIST,

Competenze

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms, deploying and configuring DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions.
• Design and implement data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies, including sensitive information types and detection tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents with root-cause analysis and escalation as needed.
• Contribute to data protection projects with testing, implementation, and documentation; participate in project meetings.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance of data protection software.
• Collaborate with teammates to expand knowledge of data protection technologies.
• Stay updated on data protection technologies, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
