Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement, maintain, and support our data protection infrastructure and applications. The role focuses on DLP/DSPM, incident troubleshooting, and policy development, working with Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, and Varonis across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5 years of experience deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience creating and managing DLP policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Collaborate on data protection designs in on‑prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and sensitive information types.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate to expand team knowledge and stay updated on DSPM/DLP trends.
• Adhere to data protection standards and evolving compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
