enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the team responsible for implementing and maintaining data protection infrastructure. You will work with DLP, DSPM, and de-identification solutions across on-prem and cloud environments, aligning with security policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers, incident troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data protection standards. Strong scripting skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field.
• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and systems analysis.
• Experience deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 2+ years of cloud provider experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DLP/DSPM components across on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Configure data protection policies and detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for deployment tasks.
• Collaborate with team on data protection projects and documentation.
