JetBrains, a global developer-tools company, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel (Regulatory and Data Privacy) to lead privacy-by-design initiatives and advise cross-functional teams across its international operations from The Dalles, Oregon.

You will map data flows, draft privacy policies and terms of service, monitor GDPR/ePrivacy developments, and drive AI-enabled efficiency in legal workflows.

Qualificações

• 8+ years post-qualification legal experience, focus on data privacy or digital regulatory compliance.
• Experience implementing GDPR/ePrivacy in international tech environments.
• University-level law degree.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Advise AI, security, HR, engineering and other teams on data-privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review and maintain data-protection agreements, privacy policies and terms of service.
• Map data flows and align operations with a global regulatory framework.
• Research international regulatory developments and produce clear memos and analyses.
• Develop and improve legal templates, guidance, DSAR processes and knowledge bases.
• Identify and assess legal risks related to emerging technology laws and product designs.
• Drive process improvements using AI to enhance legal workflow efficiency.
