Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Privacy & Technology to act as a strategic legal advisor on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and technology initiatives. This role partners with Legal, Information Security, IT, Product, HR, and Compliance to ensure regulatory compliance while enabling business growth across a broad technology footprint.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in Tennessee or registered with the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, AI, and technology matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology, software, cloud services, data-sharing, and vendor agreements.
• Advise on compliance with privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
• Develop privacy policies, standards, governance frameworks, and related programs.
• Monitor emerging privacy and technology laws and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities, including breach assessment and regulatory reporting.
