Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities and implement scalable privacy solutions. You will work with cybersecurity, engineering, data, legal and compliance teams to embed privacy-by-design principles and strengthen regulatory compliance.

The role partners across the organization to protect sensitive information while enabling business innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in privacy/security/data protection fields.
• Experience implementing GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA or similar.
• Hands-on coding in Python, Java, or Go.
• Cloud/DevSecOps experience including IaC and security automation.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data protection strategy across structured and unstructured data.
• Design, deploy and optimize privacy-enhancing technologies (encryption, tokenization, DLP).
• Partner with engineering, product, legal and compliance to embed privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and support regulatory obligations.
• Drive governance metrics and continuous improvement of privacy posture.
