Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities, designing scalable privacy solutions that protect sensitive information while enabling business innovation.

The role partners across cybersecurity, engineering, data, legal, and compliance teams to embed privacy-by-design principles, drive regulatory compliance, and shape the future of privacy engineering at CVS Health.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, or related technical disciplines with regulatory frameworks.
5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data protection capabilities (encryption, tokenization, data classification, DLP).
5+ years in cloud/DevSecOps, including CI/CD, IaC, and security automation.
3+ years leading enterprise privacy/compliance initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection across structured/unstructured data.
Design and deploy PETs (encryption, tokenization, anonymization, data classification, DLP).
Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity to embed privacy-by-design.
Conduct privacy risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks.
Drive governance metrics, automation, and continuous improvement in data protection.
