Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities. You will design and implement scalable privacy solutions, partner with cybersecurity, engineering, legal, and compliance teams, and drive privacy-by-design across the organization.

This senior role focuses on safeguarding sensitive data, enabling innovation, and aligning with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in privacy/security/data protection fields.
• Experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA compliance.
• Hands-on development with Python, Java, or Go.
• Cloud/DevSecOps experience including IaC and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data protection and privacy engineering initiatives across data environments.
• Design, deploy, and optimize privacy technologies (encryption, tokenization, anonymization, DLP).
• Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance to embed privacy-by-design principles.
