Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy capabilities across structured and unstructured data environments. You will design and implement scalable privacy and security solutions that protect sensitive information while enabling business innovation, partnering with cybersecurity, engineering, data, legal, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines with GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA experience.
5+ years designing enterprise data protection capabilities (encryption, tokenization, DLP, data classification).
5+ years coding in Python/Java/Go or similar.
5+ years in cloud and DevSecOps, with CI/CD, IaC, privacy threat modeling, and security automation.
3+ years leading enterprise privacy initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise data protection and privacy engineering strategy across data environments.
Design, deploy, and optimize Privacy Enhancing Technologies and DLP solutions.
Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and security teams to embed privacy-by-design.
Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations for audits and regulatory obligations.
Drive governance metrics, automation, and continuous improvement of privacy posture.
