Publicis Sapient seeks a Senior Associate Data Platform Support Engineer to maintain enterprise data platforms on AWS. You will monitor batch and streaming workflows, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root-cause analysis to implement durable fixes.

You will work with SRE, Infra, Development, Product, and Business teams to ensure reliable deployments and optimized performance, with an emphasis on automation and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience in data-related roles.
• 4+ years in data engineering and big data tech.
• Strong Spark development using Scala or Python.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Hands-on Kafka streaming architecture.
• Experience with NiFi ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and data lake architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Production support, perf optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, and cloud security.

Responsabilités

• Provide L2 production support for data platforms on AWS.
• Monitor EMR, Kafka, NiFi, EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, Couchbase and S3.
• Investigate incidents, perform RCA, and drive permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with SRE, Infra, Development, Product, and Business teams.
• Develop dashboards and health checks using Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
• Participate in on-call shifts and disaster recovery exercises.
