Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Associate Data Platform Support Engineer to maintain enterprise data platforms on AWS. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch and real-time data processing, collaborating with SRE, Infra, Dev, and Product teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response, and responsible data pipeline management, with opportunities to design proactive solutions and drive cost efficiency across cloud resources.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT with data engineering focus.
• 4+ years in Data Engineering and Big Data tech.
• Strong Spark (Scala/Python) experience.
• Cloud-native apps on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Hands-on Kafka streaming architecture.
• ETL/data ingestion with Apache NiFi.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and data lake.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL DBs.
• Production support, performance optimization, troubleshooting.
• CI/CD, IaC, and cloud security knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide L2 production support for enterprise data platforms on AWS.
• Monitor Big Data apps (EMR, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, EKS, Aurora, DocumentDB, Couchbase, S3).
• Investigate and resolve incidents within SLAs.
• Perform RCA and implement permanent fixes with engineering.
• Monitor and optimize batch/streaming data pipelines.
• Support workflow orchestration and scheduling dependencies.
• Manage Kafka producers/consumers and lag analysis.
• Support Kubernetes workloads and deployments.
• Maintain EMR health, auto-scaling, and Spark jobs.
• Assist in database tuning and query analysis.
• Execute deployments via Jenkins and Harness CI/CD.
• Develop dashboards and health checks with monitoring tools.
• Plan capacity and optimize cloud costs.
• Collaborate across SRE, Infra, Dev, Product.
