Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Manager to lead one of our Data Platform teams. You will provide strategic direction and manage the development of the Data Self-Service Platform, enabling teams to access their own data via user-friendly tools.

You will mentor engineers, oversee production-grade applications, and drive data modernization with a focus on governance, quality, and scalable architecture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership/management.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python).
• Strong communication for stakeholder management.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack apps and gRPC/REST APIs.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Manage, mentor, and foster the growth of a software engineering team.
• Coordinate project planning, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Bridge engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and improve operational efficiency.
