CVS Health is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Data Self-Service Platform team. You will guide the end-to-end delivery of a new internal self-service application, modernizing data access and empowering analytics teams to work with data via self-service tools.

The role emphasizes ownership, stakeholder management, and mentorship, leading engineering talent to align technical execution with business strategy and to deliver production-grade software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership/management.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python preferred).
• Strong communication skills for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack apps and gRPC/REST API development.
• Experience managing containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Github).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and relational/cloud data platforms (Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Manage, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Serve as a bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and operational efficiency.
