Job summary

Availity is seeking a Software Engineer IV to provide senior technical leadership for the design, development, and operation of our data platform processes and services, including a member-facing membership application end to end.

You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, information management, and analytics teams to ensure secure, scalable data ingestion, storage, processing, and access, while maintaining reliability and data integrity across the

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive software development experience in Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with data modeling and data architecture; SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data processes for large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, data-driven systems and data processes.
• Own a membership application end to end — design, documentation, development, tests, deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines capable of handling large data volumes with observability.
• Improve CI/CD and automate using Python, SQL, RESTful APIs and related frameworks.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers; collaborate across teams.
