Job summary

Raydar, a data-driven consumer marketplace, seeks a Senior Data Engineer II to own end-to-end data-pipeline architecture on a lean platform team. You will guide cross-functional efforts, implement scalable pipelines, and mentor engineers while hands-on coding and production ops remain central to the role.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience as a data engineer or data platform engineer.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for live production environments.
• Experience with containerized data infrastructures and operational troubleshooting.
• Production experience with Airflow and a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery.
• US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data-pipeline architecture across ingestion, transformation, modeling, and serving layers.
• Design platform improvements for warehouse cost, compute efficiency, access control, reliability, and observability.
• Lead large cross-functional projects from design through delivery.
• Build monitoring, testing, and alerting to close production visibility gaps.
