Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
• Full-stack experience spanning data layer to UI and API.
• Strong TypeScript and SQL with data modeling.
• Data and analytics savvy with ability to assess report plausibility.
• Experience with React in production.
• Docker and container-based deployment.
• Hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proficiency with AI development tools (coding agents/assistants).

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for your domain and influence product decisions.
• Defend architecture and infrastructure choices considering cost and reliability.
• Build core systems and create reference implementations for fast iteration.
• Evolve existing systems through decomposition and migrations.
• Design for failure domains and define recovery paths across regions and partners.
• Own the data model for eligibility, claims, clinical, and analytics data.
• Establish cross-cutting standards (CI/CD, schemas, test data).
• Manage technical debt as a portfolio and drive improvements.
• Mentor and grow senior engineers to operate at a staff level.
• Communicate candidly to engineering and leadership.
