Availity, a leading healthcare technology company, is hiring a Software Engineer IV to architect and lead the data platform and membership application end-to-end. Based remotely in the US, you will design scalable data-driven systems and mentor junior engineers.

You will collaborate with product, application engineering, information management, and analytics teams to ensure reliability, data integrity, and performance while enabling secure data ingestion, storage, and processing.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of progressive software product development in an Agile/iterative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Management; Master’s preferred.
• Proven senior engineer with mentoring and design guidance.
• Data modeling and data architecture with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and developing scalable, data-driven systems and data processes.
• Owning a membership application end to end—from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Building and maintaining data pipelines for large data volumes in a stable, observable manner.
• Improve CI/CD environments using Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, and other frameworks.
• Apply modern architecture patterns (distributed systems, microservices) for reusable, maintainable code.
• Consult on databases, write queries and modify table definitions; document the systems.
