Job summary

Lyric is a remote-friendly employer seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build the data foundation for its healthcare decision intelligence platform. You will own production data pipelines using Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt, ensuring data quality and observability across a multi-tenant environment.

You will collaborate with teams across invoicing, analytics, and reporting to understand requirements, migrate workloads, and contribute to platform direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and owning production data pipelines.
• Strong Snowflake experience, including streams and tasks.
• Production experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Solid data modeling skills for multi-consumer data sharing.
• Ability to translate requirements for data consumers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own data pipelines in a unified framework.
• Implement canonical data model in production with observability.
• Build automated validation and data quality checks.
• Instrument pipelines for freshness, lineage, and alerts.
• Support self-service data consumption for other teams.
• Collaborate with invoicing, analytics, and reporting teams.
