Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a senior Analytics/Data Engineer to lead the technical direction of our data platform. You will own architecture, design, and reliable production infrastructure across ingestion, pipelines, and warehouse layers.

Lead collaboration with analytics engineers and business stakeholders, implement robust testing and observability, and mentor engineers while advancing scalable, cloud-native data solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics/data engineering or related field with track record of setting technical direction.
• Proficient with modern cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) and data modeling.
• Strong Python and SQL; builds reliable ingestion/ELT pipelines and maintainable models.
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience building backend services and APIs; strong observability and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for core data platform systems and lead architecture decisions.
• Partner with data leadership to shape platform roadmap and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Build and operate ingestion services and data pipelines delivering timely information.
• Establish testing, logging, alerting, and observability as core practices.
• Own workflow orchestration infrastructure including deployments and reliability.
• Improve warehouse reliability, performance, cost control, and access governance.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers and business stakeholders to align requirements and communicate risks.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
• Support data science/AI workflows by preparing model-ready datasets.
