Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead a Palantir Foundry-based data product, owning the enterprise ontology and analytics framework. You will collaborate with product, analytics, operations, governance, and engineering teams to deliver trusted reporting, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable platform capabilities.

You will mentor engineers, set architectural standards, and drive durable technical decisions while managing complex data and platform engineering initiatives across healthcare

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience required.
• Strong expertise in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering.
• Experience with PySpark, Spark, Python, SQL in production settings.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to translate healthcare/operational workflows into durable technical models.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Palantir Foundry data product.
• Define enterprise ontology using EHR/ERP data for semantic models.
• Model core clinical, operational, financial, and admin entities for scalable analytics.
• Establish architecture standards, data contracts, and semantic modeling frameworks.
• Design and optimize PySpark transformations and analytical datasets.
• Drive data quality, governance, security, lineage, and compliance.
