Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead a strategic data product reimagined on Palantir Foundry and AIP. You will architect the enterprise ontology, ingest EHR/ERP data, and drive a governance-centric model for clinical, operational, financial and administrative domains.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will mentor engineers, set architectural standards, and partner with product, analytics, governance, and security teams to deliver trusted analytics, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale distributed data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of semantic modeling and ontology development.
• Experience with healthcare data domains and systems preferred.
• Ability to lead architectural decisions across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of Palantir Foundry-based data product.
• Define enterprise ontology using EHR and ERP data sources.
• Model clinical, operational, financial, and administrative entities.
• Establish architecture standards and semantic modeling frameworks.
• Design scalable PySpark transformations and analytical datasets.
• Drive data quality, governance, security, privacy, and lineage.
• Lead architectural decision-making and influence technical direction.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, governance, and engineering teams.
