Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr. Staff Data Migration Engineer to lead enterprise data migration programs in the finance and insurance sector.

This remote role partners with executives and cross-functional teams to shape strategy, governance, and scalable architecture for large-scale conversions. You will drive timelines, manage escalations, and guide forecasting and capacity planning to support growth and business continuity.

Qualifications

10–15 years leading enterprise data migration programs or banking system conversions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
Deep expertise in data migration architecture and transformation methodologies.
Strong knowledge of banking data ecosystems and migration governance.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead complex data migration initiatives and coordinate cross-functional delivery activities.
Serve as a senior migration advisor for executive stakeholders, guiding strategic conversion planning.
Drive enterprise migration strategy by balancing operational priorities and implementation timelines.
Influence migration governance by developing scalable frameworks and operational best practices.
Lead resolution efforts for critical migration escalations and direct cross-functional mitigation strategies.
Guide migration forecasting and operational capacity planning to support scalable growth.
Provide thought leadership on migration architecture and operational scalability initiatives.
