Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead core data governance initiatives and advance CLA’s enterprise data governance program. You will design and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes; drive data governance and data quality conformance; and collaborate with business and technical leaders to promote responsible, compliant data use.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data governance or data management experience.
• Bachelor's degree; related field preferred.
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK and data quality, privacy, and security regulations.
• Ability to translate governance policies into measurable KPIs/OKRs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous governance improvement.
• Define metadata requirements, including terms, definitions, lineage, and ownership.
• Prioritize governance intake and present recommendations to the Data Governance Council.
• Facilitate cross-functional data decisions and document outcomes.
• Own the lifecycle of governance artifacts including drafting, review, and publication.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Security, Legal, and Metadata Management.
• Develop training and guidance to strengthen data governance adoption and data literacy.
