Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our growing team. You will lead core governance initiatives and drive the maturity of CLA's enterprise data governance program, designing and enforcing policies, standards, and processes for compliant data use.

You will collaborate with business and technical leaders to promote responsible data use, data quality conformance, and clear ownership across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
• Bachelor's degree required; related field preferred.
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK and data privacy/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement and conformance.
• Define governance requirements for metadata: terms, elements, definitions, lineage.
• Coordinate intake, prioritize work, and present recommendations to Data Governance Council.
• Facilitate cross-functional decisions among data stewards, custodians, SMEs and business teams.
• Own lifecycle of governance artifacts: drafting, review, publication, versioning.
• Partner with Compliance, Security, Legal, and Metadata Management to ensure compliance.
• Develop and deliver training and communications to improve data literacy.
