Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our growing team. The role leads core data governance initiatives and contributes to the continued maturity of CLA's enterprise data governance program.

You will design and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes; drive data quality conformance; and partner with business and technical leaders to promote compliant use of data. Travel < 10%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data governance or data management.
• Bachelor's degree required; Information Management or CS preferred.
• Strong understanding of governance principles, policies, standards, and KPIs/OKRs.
• Fluent with DAMA-DMBOK and privacy regs (GDPR/CCPA).
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional sessions and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and enhancement of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement and conformance monitoring.
• Define governance requirements for metadata, terms, data elements, lineage, and ownership.
• Manage intake/prioritization and present recommendations to the Data Governance Council.
• Facilitate cross-functional governance decisions and document actions.
• Own lifecycle of governance artifacts: drafting, review, publication, versioning, refreshes.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Security, Legal, and Metadata Management for regulatory compliance.
• Develop training and guidance to strengthen governance adoption and data literacy.
