Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Sr Staff Data Fabric Architect to lead design and implementation of data fabric solutions focused on customer experiences. This role ensures scalability, security, and performance for customer-facing applications and analytics.

You will mentor teams, define standards, and collaborate with product management to deliver robust data fabric ecosystems across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years in data architecture or 8+ years with an Associates degree or 10+ years with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evangelize the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for customer initiatives.
• Collaborate with product management, leads, and stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable data fabric solutions.
• Develop and enforce data architecture standards, guidelines, and governance across customer data assets.
• Drive integration of diverse data sources (on‑prem, cloud, third‑party) into a unified data fabric.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and architects.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks including security, privacy, and compliance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in data fabric and customer experience domains.
• Document architectures and processes for knowledge sharing.
