Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Staff Data Fabric Architect to lead design and implementation of data fabric solutions for customer-facing apps and analytics. You will shape scalable, secure architectures and drive governance across CSCX initiatives.

Eastern Time zone candidates are preferred. This role partners with architecture peers to accelerate delivery and reduce downstream rework while mentoring engineers and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent education.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture.
• Military experience considered equivalent.
• Proven expertise in data fabric design using Denodo, Tibco Data Virtualization, Collibra, Alation, and metadata tools.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evangelize the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for CSCX customer initiatives.
• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices across customer data assets.
• Drive integration of on-premise, cloud, and third-party data into a unified data fabric.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and architects.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks, including security, privacy, and compliance.
• Stay current with industry trends in data fabric and customer experience domains.
• Document data fabric architecture and processes for knowledge sharing.
