Job summary

Cloudera in the United States seeks a Senior Field Specialist to shape data engineering and streaming solutions for enterprise customers. You will lead engagements, design cloud-native architectures, and drive PoCs across data prep, CDC, streaming, and AI readiness.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering, influence roadmaps, and represent Cloudera at events, sharing knowledge and best practices to accelerate customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data engineering initiatives and customer engagements.
• Ability to design scalable, cloud-native data architectures.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-native data engineering engagements and present outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support PoCs, solution sizing, and adoption for data pipelines and AI readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex data pipelines and guide escalations.
• Develop educational materials and share best practices for streaming tech.
• Influence product roadmap from customer feedback and regional needs.
• Act as a Cloudera evangelist at events and in communities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align on vision.
