Cloudera is seeking a Senior Field Specialist - Data Engineering & Streaming (Pre-Sales) in the United States. You will lead customer engagements, design cloud-native data architectures, and support PoCs to drive AI-ready data strategies.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and multi-cloud data pipelines, and will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to shape solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements with scalable data engineering architectures.
• Support PoCs, solution sizing, and adoption for data prep and streaming use cases.
• Troubleshoot complex data pipelines and guide escalations.
• Develop educational materials and share best practices.
• Influence product roadmap with customer feedback.
• Engage in community activities and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
