Qualifications

• 10+ years building data pipelines and data warehouses.
• 6+ years Snowflake production experience including admin tasks.
• 5+ years maintaining production dbt projects with CI/CD.
• 5+ years using ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, etc.) and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools in production data work.
• Expert SQL with performance tuning.
• Daily use of Git/GitHub PR workflows.
• Experience owning a data platform or leading a data team.
• Experience handling regulated data (CUI) with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own Snowflake admin tasks and enforce security.
• Design and own dbt models and tests.
• Build and monitor ELT pipelines using Fivetran.
• Lead data modeling from intake to production.
• Translate business needs into technical specs.
• Proactively identify data opportunities and prioritize with stakeholders.
• Perform impact analysis before changing shared objects.
• Own Git workflow for dbt project and PR reviews.
• Use AI coding agents to speed up development with safety checks.
• Mentor analysts and engineers on SQL and dbt.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and document data flows.
• Lead design reviews and evaluate new Snowflake/dbt features.
• Travel up to 5% annually in the US.
