Job summary

Celigo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and steward a Snowflake-based data ecosystem. You will own scalable ELT pipelines, production data models, and observability frameworks, partnering with Analytics, Product, and Engineering to deliver reliable data solutions for analytics, BI, and ML.

You will design models (dimensional, data vault, medallion) and enforce data quality, governance, and cost-efficiency. Strong Snowflake, dbt, and Python skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years hands-on data engineering building production-grade pipelines.
• 3+ years with Snowflake in production.
• Experience with Snowflake migrations or rebuilds.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
• CI/CD-driven data pipelines (dbt + GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with data governance and cloud security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines with Snowflake.
• Architect data models to support analytics, BI, and ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Establish data quality, validations, and observability frameworks.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, access control, and compliance.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and costs.
• Evaluate Snowflake features to improve velocity and reduce costs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and review.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
