Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Data Engineer to own a cloud data platform, building ELT pipelines and data models for financial data. You will work with Snowflake, SQL, and Python as a Snowflake SME, partnering with business and technology teams to ensure accurate, scalable data.

You will design scalable pipelines, contribute to reporting layers, and collaborate across stakeholders in a hybrid environment balancing onsite and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience, with 2 years on Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL, Python, and Snowflake (Streams/Tasks/Data sharing).
• Experience with data modeling and orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
• Familiar with AWS/Azure and Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Strong analytical skills and data accuracy.
• Preferred SnowPro Core/Advanced certs and BI tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ELT pipelines across diverse data sources.
• Develop dimensional/semantic models for portfolio reporting.
• Implement automated data validation with detailed reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and write specs.
• Act as Snowflake SME and advise on patterns and costs.
• Support analysts with well-documented, performant reporting layers.
• Integrate Snowflake with operational systems with platform engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, providing feasibility and cost input.
