Simarn Solutions seeks a Data Engineer / Technical Lead with hands‑on Snowflake and dbt experience to design scalable ELT pipelines and data models. You will drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and CI/CD automation in an onsite‑offshore delivery model.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building Snowflake ELT pipelines.
• Expertise in dbt Core or Cloud development.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing concepts with performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, production‑grade ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations and data models.
• Implement dbt incremental models, snapshots, testing, and reusable modeling patterns.
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for dbt and data deployments.
• Integrate dbt/Snowflake pipelines with enterprise orchestration tools.
• Implement automated data quality, testing, monitoring, and observability.
• Apply Snowflake security, access control, and cloud data engineering best practices.
• Use Git and DevOps practices for version control and controlled deployments.
• Lead technical design and code reviews; provide architectural guidance.
• Mentor data engineers and collaborate with offshore team members to drive delivery.
