Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a hands-on Sr. Data Engineer to bridge business strategy and data engineering, building high-performance data products and reliable pipelines that support our global supply chain.

You will own Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow pipelines, back up the Data Architect, review tests, and ensure cloud data warehousing standards with Snowflake; collaboration with SAP, Kinaxis, WMS/TMS tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow.
• Data Warehouse experience; Snowflake preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands-on lead resolving blockers across Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt pipelines.
• Back up Data Architect; review GitHub PRs to enforce testing, quality, and standards.
• Ensure cloud data warehousing and orchestration standards (Airflow / GKE).
• Deliver high-impact datasets for OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory from SAP, Kinaxis, and WMS/TMS tools.
• Manage sprint backlogs, timelines, engineers, and consultants across initiatives.
