Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Data Architect in Piscataway, NJ to bridge business strategy with data engineering and to build high‑performance data products for the global supply chain. This hands‑on role requires deep expertise in Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow, and experience delivering datasets for core metrics from SAP, Kinaxis, and WMS/TMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related quantitative field.
• 4+ years total in Data Engineering & Data Architecting
• Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow
• Hands‑on experience creating ERDs and DFDs
• Data Warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred)

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands‑on lead resolving technical blockers across Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt pipelines.
• Perform GitHub PR reviews to enforce testing, quality, and platform standards.
• Ensure all engineering aligns with modern cloud data warehousing and orchestration standards (Airflow / GKE).
• Deliver high‑impact datasets for core metrics (OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory) sourced from SAP, Kinaxis, and WMS/TMS tools.
• Manage sprint backlogs, project timelines, internal engineers, and third‑party consultants across concurrent initiatives.
