Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of dedicated data engineering experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Advanced Snowflake architecture experience, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Experience moving data across hybrid environments (on-prem to cloud).
• Experience with semantic layers and data for AI or NLP capabilities.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; dbt experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure tools (Data Factory, Functions, Stream Analytics) and AWS ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines from on-premises and cloud sources.
• Core developer for the Snowflake data platform; supports performance, modeling, and storage.
• Architects and builds transformation pipelines for Snowflake and dbt AI features.
• Maintains semantic layers and metadata models for Self-Service 2.0 NL interfaces.
• Establishes reference architectures, reusable templates, and CI/CD best practices.
• Provides direct management and mentorship to one data engineer with potential for growth.
• Drives adoption of dbt and evaluates AWS/Azure tools to optimize data flow.
