Amazon is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Security Data Intelligence (SDI) team in Austin, TX. You will own multiple data domains, operate hundreds of pipelines, and drive architectural improvements for security leadership decisions.

Responsibilities include defining data contracts, building ingestion flows, and delivering analytical models across ASE and related security teams. You will mentor engineers and promote data engineering best practices across the org.

Competenze

• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.

• Identify data processing limitations and drive improvements and best practices across pipelines.
• Define data architecture at team/organization level to match business problems with security and scalability.
• Produce reliable, reusable data solutions that are secure and easily maintainable.
