Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to lead data pipeline design and implementation in a fully remote role across healthcare environments.

The candidate will orchestrate ADF pipelines, work with Databricks, Snowflake, and EDW concepts to deliver scalable solutions. Required skills include extensive experience with ADF, Snowflake, HL7/FHIR, and ETL tooling; strong SQL and Python capabilities; and collaboration with teams to define ETL specifications and data models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with enterprise data warehousing focus.
• 5+ years with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• 5+ years ETL development with Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, ADF or similar tools.
• 5+ years of relational databases: Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server.
• 5+ years building stored procedures: Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, Snowflake SQL.
• 3+ years Python scripting.
• 3+ years source control: Azure DevOps, GitHub, SVN.
• 2+ years processing structured/unstructured data.
• Healthcare data standards: HL7, FHIR.
• 3+ years gathering requirements and detailing ETL specs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data pipelines.
• Support data warehouse solutions in healthcare environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into ETL specs.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance of pipelines.
