Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the architectural vision and hands-on delivery of scalable data platforms for a major life sciences client. You'll design production-grade pipelines for multi-modal research data, genomics, and manufacturing datasets, and collaborate with process engineers and scientists to accelerate data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years in software/data platform architecture and ETL/ELT engineering.
• Experience across scientific/clinical informatics or chemical/process engineering data.
• US work authorization and 3 days onsite in Indianapolis, IN area.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architecture for scientific, clinical trial, and research informatics data.
• Ingest, harmonize, and model OT and manufacturing datasets including API manufacturing pipelines, batch data, MES, SCADA, and OSIsoft PI systems.
