Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Indianapolis for a hybrid, enterprise-focused project. You will own architecture and hands-on delivery of scalable data platforms spanning small molecules, genomics, clinical trial data, and manufacturing datasets.

You will work closely with process engineers, clinical scientists, and platform teams to deliver high-performance data infrastructure that accelerates drug discovery and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Senior level with 10-20+ years in software data platforms and ETL/ELT

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architecture for scientific, clinical, and manufacturing data
• Ingest, harmonize, and model OT and manufacturing datasets including API pipelines, MES, SCADA, and PI systems
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure while ensuring governance and compliance
• Lead engineering best practices, data modeling standards, and monitoring across the data stack
