Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the architectural vision and hands-on delivery of scalable data platforms for life sciences clients. You will bridge data domains from research informatics to manufacturing, building robust pipelines and enforcing governance across cloud ecosystems.

The role is hybrid with 3 onsite days per week in Indianapolis, collaborating closely with engineers, clinical scientists, and domain leads to accelerate drug discovery and manufacturing analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/data platform experience
• Proven ability to architect end-to-end data pipelines
• Experience with regulated life sciences or similar domains helpful

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own production-grade data pipelines and architecture for scientific and clinical data
• Lead data platform engineering and ensure governance, data residency, and compliance
• Collaborate with process engineers, scientists, and platform teams to deliver scalable data solutions
