Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the architectural vision and hands-on execution for scalable data platforms across scientific, clinical, and manufacturing datasets. You will drive pipelines from genomics and clinical trial data to API manufacturing and process control data, collaborating with engineers and domain experts.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years of senior-level experience in software development, data platform architecture, and complex ETL/ELT engineering.
• Experience engineering data pipelines across scientific, clinical, or process domains is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead technical architecture discussions with cross-functional teams in a regulated, GxP-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines for scientific and manufacturing data.
• Ingest, harmonize, and model OT and manufacturing data (MES, SCADA, PI) for enterprise use.
• Ensure governance, data residency, and security across cloud data ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure).
