Job summary

Xenon7 seeks Senior Data Engineer with 10–20+ years experience to lead data platform architecture for a top-tier life sciences client. You will own architectural vision and hands-on pipelines across OT/IT data, genomics, clinical datasets, and manufacturing data, with 3 days onsite in Indianapolis.

Work with process engineers and scientists, ensure governance, data residency, and GxP compliance, using Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure; strong Python, PySpark, SQL.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Experience in data platform architecture and ETL/ELT.
• Able to work onsite 3 days/week in Indianapolis with US work authorization.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data platforms and pipelines for scientific, clinical, and manufacturing data.
• Architect data models across multi-domain datasets to enable analytics and ML.
• Lead data governance, residency, and regulatory compliance (GxP) in a controlled environment.
• Collaborate with process engineers and scientists to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Mentor engineers and establish data engineering best practices.
