Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive data architecture and platform engineering for a top-tier life sciences client. You will own the architectural vision and hands-on implementation of scalable data platforms and pipelines.

The role requires 10–20+ years of experience, strong Python/PySpark/SQL skills, and deep knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud ecosystems. It is a 3-day onsite hybrid position in Indianapolis with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years in software/data platform architecture and ETL/ELT engineering.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud data ecosystems.
• Ability to engineer data pipelines across scientific/chemical domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architecture for scientific, clinical, and research informatics data.
• Structure multi-modal datasets to enable analytics, enterprise reporting, and ML models.
