Verizon is seeking a Senior Data Leader to design and optimize enterprise data architecture and end-to-end pipelines. You will lead data models, storage modernization, and CI/CD for data workflows, with a focus on cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive innovative data solutions including AI-enabled workflows in a remote US-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work, military, or training.
• Five or more years of hands-on ETL/ELT data pipeline development.
• Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and System Architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building scalable, high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines from diverse sources to cloud platforms.
• Architecting robust data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Managing and modernizing enterprise data storage across Teradata and cloud platforms.
• Implementing DevOps and CI/CD for data pipelines to ensure automated, reliable delivery.
• Optimizing SQL, Python, and orchestration workflows to reduce latency.
• Evaluating and integrating AI/ML tools and AI techniques into data infrastructure.
