Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Data Engineer II to lead and advance its Corporate Data Platform, a cloud-native data warehouse powering enterprise reporting and AI-ready analytics. You will shape architecture, raise engineering standards, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable data pipelines across Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.

The role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-person collaboration at US office hubs and some remote work options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or related field with production pipelines and warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and modern ELT architectures is required.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, testing, observability, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with data governance, auditability, and SOX-relevant environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical anchor for the Corporate Data Platform, setting high standards for engineering output, data modeling, testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehouse architecture across Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and related tools.
• Collaborate with Principal Data Engineer and cross-functional stakeholders to influence architecture and deliver governed, AI-ready data infrastructure.
• Power enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, and AI-driven workstreams across Finance, Sales, Operations, and other functions.
• Contribute to data governance framework, data quality SLAs, and audit readiness.
