Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Data Engineer II to lead the Corporate Data Platform, a cloud-native data warehouse powering enterprise reporting and AI-enabled analytics. You will design and optimize data pipelines, models, and governance across Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Elementary, and Sigma, while shaping platform architecture and standards.

This hybrid role is based in the US with onsite Tuesdays–Fridays and remote Mondays, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Proficiency with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and modern ELT/data warehouse architectures.
Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, Claude Code) is expected.
Strong data modeling, SQL, testing, observability, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior technical anchor for the Corporate Data Platform, setting high quality standards.
Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehouse architecture across Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran.
Collaborate with leaders to influence architecture and deliver governed, AI-ready data infrastructure.
