AltaMed seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement data solutions across healthcare systems. You will lead major development efforts, mentor junior engineers, and ensure scalable data infrastructure for analytics and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, experience with SQL Server, data modeling, cloud platforms, and Tableau, plus knowledge of healthcare data standards. Join AltaMed’s mission-driven team improving community health.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry.
Experience with healthcare data systems, compliance, and reporting.
Experience with data modeling, SQL Server, and cloud technologies required.
Advanced certifications in data platforms preferred (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).
Experience with machine learning pipelines or real-time streaming data preferred.
Experience influencing architectural decisions across teams preferred.
Experience with EZCAP or other claim payment systems preferred.
Experience with Epic or other EMR systems preferred.
Proficiency in Tableau preferred.
