Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the reliability of data used by Finance. This full-stack role builds pipelines, transformations, and data models turning billing and usage data into revenue forecasts and reports.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Accounting and Revenue teams, set technical direction, and mentor engineers while raising the bar for data infrastructure. Join us to shape financial insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data or analytics engineering owning pipelines end-to-end.
• Strong SQL and Python; production-grade code.
• Experience with dbt and modern ELT/ETL workflows.
• Finance data experience and analytics orientation.

Responsibilities

• Own pipelines for billing, usage, and contracts data.
• Design dbt models turning raw data into trusted datasets for revenue recognition, forecasting.
• Set testing and documentation standards for Finance data accuracy.
• Build datasets and semantic models for dashboards used by Finance leadership.
• Mentor engineers and help set technical standards.
